My Story

HELLO!

My name is Jason Green, but professionally, I go by Jason Gregory.  This seems to confuse a lot of folks!   The short explanation is... as a DJ and Entertainer,  my brand name is Jason Gregory as an ode to my late father Gregory.  He taught me everything I know about music, records, mixing you name it (my mother was the vocalist and taught me to sing), and my middle name is Gregory, so it just seemed fitting.

I am a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Denver! Growing up, I was always an avid lover of music and how it unites us. and fascinated by how music makes people feel.  Music, dance, performing and visual arts are integral parts of who I am.   I also traveled and lived in Prague, Czech Republic, for a while.  I tried to soak up as much music, culture, and definitely the food that I could while living abroad.

I entered the DJ scene a little over a decade ago when my wife and I were on the hunt for a DJ for our own wedding.  The stars aligned after running into an old  buddy from CSU (Go Rams!) at an event expo, who was shearing for his company's next top-notch DJ and MC!  So here I am.  I instantly fell in love with the people, the energy, the details, and the inner workings of pulling off a seamless event! 

I love being a family man and a highlight of my life is spending time with my daughters.  I am also fortunate enough to be able to share another passion of mine, by teaching hip hop to kids at Cherry Creek Dance here in Denver.  I also am the guy you can find running or checking out live music anywhere.  I dig most genres of music, but my favorite thing about being a DJ is fusing EDM with Hip Hop and R&B. I have to say, I'm definitely living my dream and would be honored to work with you!
