My Story

Every great celebration has a story. Here's mine...

I'm Jason Green, though chances are you know me as Jason Gregory.

People often ask where the name comes from. The answer is simple—it's a tribute to my late father, Gregory.

My father was the one who introduced me to the magic of music. He taught me about vinyl records and emersed me into music.  My mom, the vocalist in our family, nurtured my love of performing. Together, they showed me that music isn't just something you hear—it's something you feel. It's what brings people together, tells stories without words, and creates memories that last a lifetime.

Using my middle name professionally felt like the perfect way to honor the man who inspired the entertainer I've become.

I'm a proud Denver native, but my love for music has taken me far beyond home. I had the opportunity to live in Prague, Czech Republic, where I immersed myself in new cultures, discovered incredible music, embraced unforgettable food, and gained an even deeper appreciation for the universal language of celebration. No matter where you are in the world, music has an incredible way of connecting people.

Ironically, I never set out to become a DJ.

A little over a decade ago, my wife and I were planning our own wedding and searching for the perfect DJ. During a wedding expo, we bumped into an old friend from Colorado State University (Go Rams!), who happened to be looking for his company's next DJ and MC. One unexpected conversation changed the course of my life.

The moment I stepped behind the booth, I knew I had found exactly where I belonged.

Since then, I've had the privilege of entertaining thousands of guests, serving as a DJ, MC, event host, benefit auctioneer, and ordained officiant. Whether I'm introducing a newly married couple, leading a fundraising gala, hosting a corporate celebration, or filling a dance floor, my goal is always the same—to create genuine moments of connection, joy, and celebration.

When I'm not entertaining, you'll find me with my wife and our incredible daughters, who are my inspiration to do what I love.  As a dancer, I thrive teaching hip-hop to kids at Cherry Creek Dance, helping the next generation discover the same confidence, creativity, and joy that music has given me throughout my life. If I'm not teaching or spending time with family, I'm probably out for a run, gardening, or propagating plants or catching live music somewhere in Colorado.  I am a huge supporter or local arts.

My playlists span every genre, but if you catch me behind the booth, you'll hear my favorite combinations—EDM, Hip-Hop, R&B, timeless classics, and unexpected mashups that keep every generation on the dance floor together.

For me, this has never been just a career.

It's an opportunity to help people celebrate life's biggest moments.
